Even though skateparks are not covered in this Table and there are no industry lighting standards for skateparks at this time, you can compare to other sports facillities on the Table and come up with a good starting point. Our recommendation would be somewhere in the range of 10-30 footcandles (fc), but this all depends on the specific conditions of your site, size, type of design/equipment, layout, personal preferences, etc. That is why we also suggest you work closely with an electrical engineer and/or sports lighting manufacturer in order to tailor your skatepark lighting system to meet all of your needs and requirements.
